Audi has picked-up three category wins at the What Car? Magazine Awards. So, for starters, the A1 has been named Supermini of the Year. The judges said it is: “still easily the best supermini on the market”. The TT took the honours in the Coupé category for the sixth time, as “there simply isn’t another coupé that can match its blend of abilities”. Finally, the TT Roadster won the Convertible of the Year' title. The judges said: “It’s a car that gets better with age, blending pace and handling with everyday usability and showroom appeal.”
What Car? Editor-in-Chief, Chas Hallett, said “Audi is on a roll at the moment, and it picks up a hat-trick of awards this year: last year’s overall winner, the A1, is our favourite supermini, and the TT is still successful. It’s been around for a while now, but it’s still our favourite Coupe and Convertible.”
If that isn't enough, Audi has retained its titles in two categories in this year’s BusinessCar Awards. For the second successive year, the A3 was voted the Lower Medium Car of the Year and the R8 picked up the Sporting Car of Year gong for the third time in as many years.
